lyrics
Panzerschreck
Days of fright – spent in this cabin
Deafened by cannons shots
Choose is death – by guns or struggle
Till very last bell toll
Snort amphetamines to stay awake
Abused – All day n night long
Squadrons of expendables – sent to die
Into the iron hell burnt core
One man screams
Death takes shape
Eighty-eight millimeters of hate
Panzerschreck
No more time - to hear or see
Into this Tank!
Panzerschreck
Sound of doom’s – the rocket hiss
And Then YOU DIE!
Frontline moves, at such price?
So many young - deceased pride
The war engines that always roll
One trigger– many die
Men are packed like beer cans
In moving tombs of steel
We give we take – death is the coin
And then you’re in the angels’ choir
One man screams
Death takes shape
Eighty-eight millimeters of hate
Panzerschreck
No more time - to hear or see
Into this Tank!
Panzerschreck
Sound of doom’s – the rocket hiss
And Then YOU DIE!
Last man standing
Marked for life by horror
Memory never dies
We were meat to the grind
Snort amphetamines to stay awake
Abused – All day n night long
Squadrons of expendables – sent to die
Into the iron hell burnt core
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
